Our Story  
The Sunshine Care Foundation was founded in 2024 by Master Kaushila Khanal Karmacharya, a dedicated leader holding a 5th Dan Black Belt, known USA Referee, lyricist, and accomplished choreographer. This initiative began as a small yet powerful effort to provide Martial Arts, Dance, and Music classes specifically designed for underprivileged children in Community City. Drawing on her extensive experience training hundreds of students at her academies—the Sunshine Taekwondo Academy, which she established in the USA in 2019, and the Smartk Taekwondo Academy, founded in 2010—Master Karmacharya has laid the foundation for a program that has evolved into a comprehensive community empowerment initiative, significantly impacting lives.

Throughout the years, we have broadened our scope, expanding our programs to include not just Martial Arts, but also Sports, Community Empowerment, Women’s Development, and Arts Education. Today, the Sunshine Care Foundation proudly serves numerous communities across Ohio, positively impacting the lives of hundreds of individuals each year. Our work is fueled by a steadfast belief that everyone deserves the opportunity to succeed, and we are unwavering in our commitment to creating lasting change through our sustainable programs. With our strong roots in martial arts training and dedicated community service, we continue to grow and evolve, paving the way for a brighter future for all who we serve.
